What's interesting here is the juxtaposition (ooh er, big word) between the light (sense of freedom) and the cage (penned in)
Then you cut to the long shot and the two figures in black almost seem to add to the oppression at first until you look closer and see they have the freedom to walk away.
Guess the universe is full of stories - and the best ones often start out very simply
